Zubora TEP

Art-Nr.: 30550
  • clear water-soluble cooling lubricant with low foaming tendency
  • free of mineral oil
  • free of boron
  • free of formaldehyde
  • on the basis of fully synthetic anionic and non-ionic lubricating components
as well as high-effective corrosion inhibitors
  • mixed with tap water, it becomes a clear solution which enables a good observation
    of the process
  • REACH-compliant substances
  • resistance of plastics as well as of paints and coatings according to VDI 3035

As the product does not contain any secondary amines, there is no risk of formation of nitrosamines according to the current state of knowledge.

Furthermore, Zubora TEP is inhibited against the formation of nitrosamines, i.e. if there are secondary
amines and nitrite due to foreign carry-over e.g., no stable N-nitrosamines can be formed. Therefore, when exceeding the limit value for nitrite according to TRGS 611 a partial or complete change of the working solution is not necessary.

Zubora TEP is used as coolant solution especially for grinding cast iron, hardened- and tempering steel,
free cutting steel as well as non-ferrous heavy metals. Due to selected highly effective EP additives
Zubora TEP is suitable for difficult cutting processes.

The product can be used for machining steel, cast iron and aluminium. Moreover, Zubora TEP is suitable for machining sensitive aluminium alloys as AL 2024 and AL 7075. Due to a special formulation Zubora TEP is particularly long-term stable. The EP-additives effect a longer tool life and enable the working with high cutting speeds. Thus, a high process security can be guaranteed even for very difficult working operations. This advantage guarantees high flexibility for different cutting processes mainly in central systems and working centres.

The necessary working concentration depends on the difficulty of the operation and the material.

Recommended hardness of the preparation water:

12 to 24° dH (210 - 430 ppm CaCO3).

grinding                 from 4 %
drilling/milling:       approx.   5 %
reaming/sawing:   approx. 10 %
